Yicai Global Unveils New 10-Year Strategy With Focus on Multilingual Expansion, AI Use(Yicai) Oct. 22 -- Yicai Global has unveiled its 2026-2035 strategy named MAPS (Matrix, Artificial Intelligence, Pivot, and Service), with the English-language news service of Yicai Media Group aiming to build a world-class financial communication and services platform, expand multilingual communication and AI applications, develop a global newsgathering network, and provide integrated services for Chinese companies going global and foreign firms operating in China.
In MAPS, “Matrix” focuses on multilingual global communication, “AI” on AI-enabled content production and distribution, “Pivot” on a global content ecosystem and China narrative, and “Service” on integrated services for Chinese and foreign companies, Yicai Global announced at an event marking its 10th anniversary in Shanghai yesterday.
Yicai Global plans to gradually add French, Spanish, Arabic and other languages to its content and cover major international social media platforms. It also intends to set up overseas content hubs in key regions in Europe, the Americas, and Asia and develop a round-the-clock newsgathering network across time zones, aiming to shift from producing content in China for global distribution to producing and expressing it worldwide.
Regarding AI, Yicai Global plans to build an intelligent content platform and apply AI to topic planning, multilingual translation, data analysis, and targeted distribution to improve the efficiency of content production and dissemination.
On the “Pivot” content ecosystem, Yicai Global will draw on its reporting, observations from global opinion leaders, and the professional experience of international media, financial institutions, and companies to refine its content sources and narrative framework, so that more Chinese perspectives enter global financial discussions.
The service business will center on Chinese companies expanding overseas and foreign firms deepening their presence in China. Yicai Global plans to work with partners to integrate communication, research, consulting, events, and resource-matching capabilities, offering services that cover brand communication, market insight, and business expansion.
Yicai Global also launched joint projects with several institutions and companies at the event, including Hongqiao Overseas Development Service Center, iMpact, Fudan University School of Management, UOB China, the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, CNBC, and ChuHai GO.
The World Media on China report, based on four consecutive years of Yicai Global data analysis and released at the event, reviewed trends and narrative features in international media coverage of China, providing data to help assess the country’s image in the international public opinion arena.
The event also featured two roundtable discussions on the globalization and multinational operations of Chinese companies, exploring what they can learn from multinationals’ experience when going global, as well as the relationship between international communication and the narrative and brand building of Chinese enterprise globalization.
