(Yicai Global) Feb. 7 -- Kunshan Kinglai Hygienic Materials Co. has penned a CNY40-million (USD6.4-million) deal to supply high-purity components to a world-renowned optoelectronic semiconductor maker.

The Jiangsu-based company will supply vacuum chambers and valves to an unnamed international firm, it said in a statement yesterday, adding that the agreement will lay a solid foundation for the firm to become a quality supplier to the semiconductor industry.

Kinglai Hygienic Materials uses high-purity stainless steel to make components for bioclean fluid pipeline systems. Its main products include sanitary pumps, valves, flanges and pipes.
