(Yicai) Aug. 18 -- Marketingforce Management will continue to advance its international expansion, primarily focusing on Southeast Asia, according to an executive at the Chinese artificial intelligence and marketing service provider.

Marketingforce's overseas business has two main segments -- precision marketing and AI applications -- covering various scenarios, including cross-border e-commerce, gaming, and retail, Senior Vice President Liu Huan told Yicai in an interview. Its overseas services mostly focus on Southeast Asia, but the company has also started to expand its reach to the European, American, and Japanese markets.

Marketingforce is also expanding overseas computing power collaboration projects to support its full industrial chain strategy of a "full-stack computing power factory," Liu noted.

Demand for AI tools among Marketingforce’s foreign clients is steadily increasing, with many cross-border businesses seeking AI solutions for overseas social media customer relationship management and livestreaming e-commerce, according to Liu. Moving forward, the company will continue to enhance its overseas product capabilities based on market demand.

Leveraging its client resources in the e-commerce, gaming, and internet services sectors, Marketingforce aims to strengthen synergies among its marketing, AI applications, and computing power businesses, he added.

Marketingforce has subsidiaries in Hong Kong, the United States, Singapore, and Japan, and the establishment of a unit in South Korea is progressing in an orderly manner, Liu said. The company is promoting its overseas business to become a new growth point for its performance through collaboration with local channel partners.

"Marketingforce started its overseas business early, collaborating with leading internet companies, such as Google and Meta, over a decade ago," Liu told Yicai. "It has also been deeply involved in markets related to the Belt and Road Initiative and is a leading marketing channel partner in China."

Through its self-developed AI-native operating system GenAI OS and the AI-Agentforce 3.0 agent platform, Marketingforce provides clients with AI-driven marketing, sales, and operational management services across multiple industries, including consumer retail, automotive, finance, healthcare, cultural tourism, and manufacturing.

Marketingforce's revenue surged 111 percent to CNY2 billion (USD290 million) in the first half from a year earlier, with net profit up 466 percent to CNY200 million (USD29.7 million), according to the firm's semiannual earnings report released on Aug. 13. The number of its clients grew 26 percent, and its average monthly revenue per user increased 80 percent in the period.

The strong performance was mainly because clients shifted from simply purchasing AI tools to seeking business value. Leveraging its full-stack token factory, Marketingforce transforms general model capabilities into traceable and billable scenario tokens, exploring diverse pricing models, such as subscriptions, usage-based billing, and contextual services. This aligns with the current transformation in the AI service industry from "selling technology" to "delivering value."

"This year marks a new phase where technological dividends are fully realized, and value is scaled up," said Zhao Xulong, chairman and chief executive officer of Marketingforce. "The company will continue to deepen its efforts in the AI application field, aiming to provide global corporate clients with smarter and more efficient AI solutions."
