China's Kengic Wins USD11.2 Million Bid for Polish E-Commerce Logistics Hub(Yicai) Oct. 9 -- Chinese logistics solutions provider Kengic Intelligent Technology has won a CNY75 million (USD11.2 million) bid to build an automated warehousing system in Poland for a major global e-commerce firm.
The project involves supporting infrastructure for an overseas warehousing hub operated by a globally renowned cross-border e-commerce company, the Qingdao-based firm announced yesterday. Kengic did not disclose the identity of the project owner or further details, citing commercial confidentiality.
Kengic is finalizing a contract with the project tenderer, with the CNY75 million tax-inclusive bid subject to the final agreement. The timing of the contract signing and execution remains uncertain, the firm said, adding that the project should boost earnings if successfully completed.
Founded in 2015, Kengic provides automated logistics and manufacturing systems for industries including chemicals, automotive and energy storage. The firm has completed more than 1,000 projects in 17 countries, according to its website.
The new partnership failed to boost the company's shares as Kengic [SHA: 688455] closed 0.9 percent down at CNY17.17 (USD2.60) today.
