(Yicai) July 31 - China's central Hubei province has inaugurated an embodied intelligence talent training base, aiming to better meet relevant demand from diverse groups across society amid the explosive growth in the area.

The base, developed by the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center and opened yesterday, delivers targeted training services for learners at different levels to build a full-cycle talent cultivation ecosystem for embodied intelligence.

Vocational students can participate in two to three-month practical training covering robot deployment, operation, and maintenance, with support for landing relevant jobs upon completion. Industry researchers and engineers may take technical training programs ranging from 60 days to one year, focusing on secondary robot development and algorithm practice.

In addition, the base offers tours and science popularization programs for primary and secondary school students and the general public to help them gain a basic understanding of the embodied intelligence industry.

"Order-based" targeted talent cultivation agreements with more than 20 robotics companies were also announced during the base's inauguration ceremony. Participating firms will take part in the whole training process and offer internships, hands-on project opportunities, and expedited employment channels to trainees.

Eleven universities in Hubei, including Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Wuhan University, signed talent cooperation agreements at the event. Partnership initiatives include joint construction of professional training classrooms, co-development of teaching curricula, and sharing of teaching faculties, while a series of newly compiled textbooks for embodied intelligence education were also introduced.
