China’s commercial aircraft fleet is expected to more than double to over 9,800 planes over the next 20 years, Boeing said today in its 2026 China Commercial Market Outlook. Passenger air travel will likely grow 5% a year, driven by an expanding middle class, more visa-free travel destinations, and continued investment in aviation infrastructure.
