China's Ministry of Commerce said yesterday that firms engaging in overseas investment must comply with Chinese laws and regulations regarding its probe of Meta's acquisition of AI platform Manus, Xinhua reported. The ministry will work with relevant departments to conduct an assessment and investigation of the consistency of this acquisition.
