Beijing's tax authority announced today that Chen Zhen, a well-known Chinese auto reviewer recently banned from several social media platforms, evaded paying CNY1.18 million (USD166,930) in taxes. Regulators have ordered him to pay the amount along with late fees and a fine, bringing the total penalty to CNY2.47 million (USD349,410).
