(Yicai Global) April 22 -- No one was killed or injured in a fire that reportedly involved a Tesla vehicle in Shanghai, the US electric automaker said via its Twitter-like Sina Weibo social media account.
The California-based company will cooperate with the local authorities to determine what happened, it said in the statement.
Media reports said a video appearing to show a Tesla sedan car bursting into flames in an underground parking lot in Shanghai yesterday was circulating online. The fire consumed several adjacent parked vehicles as well.
