(Yicai Global) Jan. 4 -- Some CNY273.4 billion (USD42.2 billion) worth of high-tech projects, involving the fields of chips, biopharma, artificial intelligence and aerospace, have been kicked off in Shanghai today.

The 64 projects were announced by the eastern city today.

From last January to November, Shanghai's fixed asset investment increased by 10.7 percent from a year ago, the statement added.
