(Yicai Global) April 25 -- Shanghai reported no new imported or domestically transmitted novel coronavirus cases yesterday, with the eastern metropolis' total remaining at 641, the city's health commission said this morning.

It also reported no asymptomatic cases under observation in the city as of yesterday.

A total of 14 people who were confirmed imported Covid-19 cases were released from hospitals yesterday after a full recovery, according to the commission.

Among the confirmed 302 imported Covid-19 cases so far, 86 patients are being treated, with one in serious condition, and 216 have been discharged upon recovery, the commission said.

It added 11 suspected cases, also involving people who had recently been overseas, are undergoing further tests.

Of the 339 local cases, seven have died, one is in critical state, and 331 patients have fully recovered and been released from hospital, the commission said.
