(Yicai Global) March 8 -- The Shanghai Data Exchange, the city's only bourse that trades data, has started its first global headhunt and is looking to fill 150 positions in the departments of risk control as well as product research and development.
Some 50 types of jobs are on offer, the exchange said on its website. No details of salary packages were given.
The bourse, which was set up in November last year, offers data transactions, compliance consulting and asset appraisal services. It aims to solve key issues in ownership, pricing, mutual trust, market access and regulation in the era of Big Data.
The exchange has over 40 products from state-owned and private firms in fields such as transportation, finance and communications. For instance, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and Shanghai Electric Power were the first to sign a deal on electric mapping. Shared utility data helps banks develop better financial products and services for their customers.
