(Yicai Global) July 19 -- Shares in China's Rastar Group have jumped today after the Guangzhou-based firm revealed its soccer club Espanyol would sell Spanish national team player Mario Hermoso Canseco for EUR25 million (USD28.2 million).
Its stock [SHE:300043] was up 2.55 percent at CNY5.22 (76 US cents) as of 10.56 a.m.
Rastar will receive 50 percent of the revenue from the sale and will get more cash if Hermoso hits certain performance targets at his new club, it said in a statement last night.
The other 50 percent will go to Real Madrid, who transferred 50 percent of the player's rights to Espanyol in 2017.
