(Yicai Global) Feb. 24 -- Chinese medical devices maker Sanyou Medical has secured the rights to distribute the bone filler made by South Korea’s Cell and Growth Factor Biotechnology in China.

Sanyou Medical and CGBio’s designated importer in China signed the deal on Feb. 22, the Shanghai-based firm said late yesterday. Sanyou Medical will be able to distribute Bongros, a synthetic bone graft substitute material, in the Chinese market until the end of 2026.

The agreement can help Sanyou Medical enrich its orthopedic biomaterial products and provide more comprehensive surgical solutions to patients and doctors, it said.

The announcement failed to boost Sanyou Medical’s share price. The stock [SHA: 688085] closed 4 percent lower at CNY29.61 (USD4.69). The broader Shanghai market fell 1.7 percent.
