Maserati Recalls 711 China Cars Whose Headlights Dazzle Oncoming Drivers(Yicai Global) Sept. 19 -- Italian luxury carmaker Maserati is recalling 711 vehicles in China as their headlights are set too high and are a danger to oncoming drivers.
Maserati China Automobile Trading issued the recall on Sept. 17, the State Administration of Market Regulation said online. It includes 87 Maserati Levantes made between Nov. 6, 2018 and March 25, 2019 and 624 Ghibli models manufactured between July 31, 2017 and March 18 this year.
The headlights on these vehicles do not conform to national standards and may dazzle oncoming drivers, the watchdog said.
Maserati will recalibrate both headlights on affected vehicles free of charge.
