Lego’s ‘Lezo Planet’ Is a Sight to Behold at CIIE(Yicai Global) Nov. 5 -- Danish toy maker The Lego Group is delighting both young and old at the ongoing China International Import Expo with its 2.7 meter high ‘Lezo Planet’ which features miniature Lego works built by Chinese children, according to The Paper.
The 'Lezo Planet,' an installation specially created for the expo, took nine builders 242 hours to build and a further 51 hours to install. Using 62,750 Lego bricks, it has a diameter of two meters and weighs 106 kilograms.
On the ‘planet’ are miniature Lego structures built by 100 children from Shanghai, Changsha in central Hunan province, Shijiazhuang in northern Hebei province, Wuhan in central Hubei province and Zhengzhou in central Henan province. The artwork displays the powerful imagination of children and how they envisage the world.
Lego’s 378-square-meter booth at the CIIE inspires children to play in a creative, fun and interactive way. Revolving around the theme of "Rebuild The World,” it focuses on creativity, innovation and sustainable development.
