(Yicai) Sept. 18 -- The third Shanghai International Light Festival kicked off yesterday, offering visitors from home and abroad a dazzling and diverse audiovisual feast.

The event, which runs through to Oct. 16, features one main venue at the Shanghai Exhibition Center and 16 satellite venues with 158 themed events, including a ‘Light of Fashion’ illumination show, architectural projection showcases and global landscape lighting exhibitions.

A spectacular light show lights up the night sky at the opening ceremony of the Shanghai International Light Festival.

The century-old Shanghai Concert Hall is transformed into a giant canvas of light and shadow, with illuminated patterns dancing across the building's facade. Dancers perform amid the projections, creating a stunning interplay between historical architecture and digital art.
