Global Humanoid Robot Leader AgiBot Taps Minth Group to Drive European Rollout(Yicai) Feb. 25 – China’s AgiBot, a global leader in humanoid robot shipments, will enter the German market through a cooperation with Taipei-based auto parts maker Minth Group to accelerate the large-scale deployment of its robot technology in Europe.
Under the new agreement, Minth Group will serve as AgiBot’s strategic partner and sales agent in Europe, strengthening AgiBot’s access to local customers and industrial resources in the region, the Shanghai-based firm announced yesterday.
Founded in February 2023, AgiBot shipped 5,200 humanoid robots last year, ranking first globally by market share, according to market research institution IDC. Meanwhile, global humanoid robot shipments surged more than sixfold year on year to around 18,000 units.
All of AgiBot’s robot products have developed mature deployment capabilities and can be deeply integrated with real industrial scenarios, William Shi, general manager of AgiBot’s Europe and America region, said in a press release issued by the company. Shi described the product launch in Germany as a crucial step in AgiBot’s global market expansion.
Chinglien Wei, chair and chief executive of Minth, said the company will leverage its local resources, mature quality delivery system, and professional team to provide efficient and reliable products and services to European customers.
Minth has operated in Europe for 15 years, with a market share exceeding 40 percent in aluminum trim and battery housing structural components, and has established production bases and technical teams in countries, including Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Serbia.
