(Yicai Global) Aug. 21 -- Primary benchmarks for China's mainland stock marketers moved only slightly this morning as investors held back in wait of information that could help guide their moneymaking efforts.

The Shanghai Composite Index was 0.06 percent lower at 2,880.52 at the lunch break, while the Shenzhen Component Index was down 0.12 percent at 9,323.09. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, was down 0.12 percent at 1,609.68.
