China's DapuStor Jumps by Limit After Landing USD515 Million Order for Enterprise‑Grade PCIe SSDs China's DapuStor Jumps by Limit After Landing USD515 Million Order for Enterprise‑Grade PCIe SSDs

(Yicai) Aug. 27 -- Shares of DapuStor surged by their daily trading limit after the leading Chinese supplier of solid-state storage said it has secured an order worth USD515 million, including tax, for enterprise-grade peripheral component interconnect express solid-state drives from a leading internet firm.

DapuStor [SHE: 301666] closed 20 percent higher at CNY469.20 (USD69.79) a share in Shenzhen today. The company listed at an initial public offering price of CNY46.08 (USD6.96) on April 16.

DapuStor penned the deal with the client on Aug. 25, agreeing to supply the enterprise-grade PCIe SDDs within 18 weeks after the agreement comes into effect, which will happen upon written confirmation from both parties, the Shenzhen-based firm said in a stock exchange filing late yesterday.

Product specifications, supply volume, unit price, payment conditions, and other key terms have been finalized, DapuStor pointed out, without disclosing further details or the name of the customer for commercial confidentiality reasons.

The order will be settled in US dollars, DapuStor noted, but did not say whether the client is a Chinese or foreign company. The deal’s risk factors include potential adverse impacts on order fulfillment stemming from shifts in international trade conditions, tariffs, and export control policies, it said, adding that the order execution will deepen existing sound cooperation with the counterparty.

The tax‑inclusive value of the order accounts for 153 percent of DapuStor’s 2025 audited main business revenue, the company said. Completing the order will positively impact future operating performance, demonstrate strong client recognition for the firm’s storage products, and help expand its brand influence and market competitiveness, it stressed.

Enterprise‑grade PCIe SSDs are deployed in data centers and artificial intelligence servers for AI model training and inference, cloud computing, big data processing, telecom operators, and financial sectors. They meet requirements for high‑performance and high‑reliability under round‑the‑clock operation, different from consumer‑grade SSDs for personal computers.

DapuStor is among the few Chinese vendors with full‑stack in‑house development covering controller chips, firmware algorithms, and storage modules, capable of mass shipments of data center storage hardware. It counts Google, ByteDance, Tencent Holdings, Alibaba Group Holding, JD.Com, and DeepSeek among its clients or end‑users, it said in its financial report for last year.
