(Yicai Global) Nov. 14 -- Some 2,100 online celebrities from China's top seven broadcasting platforms earned a total of CNY310 million (USD46.96 million) last month, while 24 anchors took home more than CNY1 million (USD150,540) for the month, according to data from Zhaihehe, which reports online celebrity news.

Among them, video hosts on Inke, Huajiao, Yizhibo and Immomo earned an income of CNY235 million (USD35.6 million) from live streaming, making up 75 percent. Immomo ranked top, with hosts raking in CNY79.39 million (USD12.02 million), while anchors on Huajiao earned CNY72.87 million. Those on Inke bagged CNY65.26 million.
While 24 of the top hosts were able to earn an impressive CNY1 million, more than 900 anchors collected more than CNY10,000 (USD1,505). The average monthly salary in China last year was CNY5,631 (USD848), according to online data provider Trading Economics.
