(Yicai Global) Dec. 27 -- Stock markets on the Chinese mainland started today mixed after making solid gains in trading yesterday.

The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.02 percent lower at 3,006.85, while the Shenzhen Component Index started at 10,326.52, up 0.22 percent. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, started 0.1 percent higher at 1,795.41.
