(Yicai) Aug. 22 -- Alibaba Group Holding's workplace messaging app DingTalk and the voice team of the Chinese tech giant's artificial intelligence research and development unit Tongyi Lab have launched a next-generation speech recognition large language model, according to a new report.
Fun-ASR can understand professional terminology from over 10 industries, including internet, technology, home decoration, animal husbandry, and auto, Sina Tech reported today, citing a joint announcement by DingTalk and Tongyi Lab. It also supports custom training for enterprise-specific AI models.
By integrating existing enterprise information within DingTalk, including contact lists, schedules, and knowledge bases, Fun-ASR can be used for reasoning optimization to effectively mitigate illusions caused by LLMs, the two companies noted.
"After just three months of close collaboration between DingTalk and Tongyi Lab's teams, the Fun-ASR model was successfully implemented, earning high recognition from top-tier clients," said Zhu Hong, chief technology officer of DingTalk.
Fun-ASR has been integrated into multiple functional modules of DingTalk, including meeting subtitles and live transcription, smart meeting summaries, and voice assistants.
