(Yicai Global) Nov. 22 - The Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets closed lower today, with brokerage heavyweights leading the underperformers.
The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.23 percent to 2,645.43 points this afternoon with CNY125.6 billion (USD18.1 billion) exchanged while the Shenzhen Component Index closed down 0.18 percent at 7,893.99 points, turning over CNY179.7 billion. The ChiNext Price Index fell 0.66 percent to 1,354.17 points with turnover of CNY51.4 billion.
