OpenAI will begin mass production of its AI chip next year in collaboration with Broadcom to reduce its reliance on Nvidia, according to Financial Times. Broadcom’s CEO Hock Tan said yesterday that the company secured an order worth more than USD10 billion for its custom AI chips.
