China's GDP expanded 5.2% to CNY34.18 trillion (USD4.77 trillion) in the second quarter of the year from a year earlier, according to preliminary calculations by the NBS. First-half GDP grew 5.3% to CNY66.05 trillion (USD9.21 trillion).
