The scale of Shanghai's #AI industry rose 29% to CNY118 billion (USD16.4 billion) in the first quarter of the year from a year earlier, with profit expanding 65%, Zhang Ying, director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, said at the #WAIC2025 press conference today.
