The measures introduced by Douyin to support merchants, including waiving commissions and cutting delivery fees, helped them save over CNY14 billion (USD1.9 billion) in the first half of the year, the e-commerce branch of the Chinese short-video app said today. They saved CNY3 billion (USD418 million) in June alone.
