Alibaba Cloud plans to launch new data centers in Malaysia and the Philippines, it said yesterday, as part of the Chinese cloud computing giant's global expansion. The company also announced its first AI Global Competency Center in Singapore, where it will team up with more than 1,000 enterprises to develop over 10 cutting‑edge AI projects and partner with 120 universities worldwide to train 100,000 AI professionals each year.
