The Yangtze River Delta railroad network operated record 455 million passenger trips in the first half of the year, with a daily average of 2.5 million, up 4.6% from a year earlier, according to China Railway Shanghai Group. Over 190 million passenger trips are expected to be made during the summer travel peak.
