China Merchants Bank remained the highest-paying lender in China with an average monthly salary and bonus of CNY52,000 (USD7,300), down 3.7% from a year ago and 10.3% from 2021, data from Wind Information showed. The average monthly pay fell at 30 out of the 42 listed Chinese banks in the first half.
