Gree Electric told Yicai it won a patent infringement lawsuit against a Xiaomi's eco-friendly fan, even though the Chinese handset giant claimed it never received litigation notices related to any energy-efficient appliances. Gree said a Zhejiang province-based Xiaomi-branded appliance maker paid a nearly CNY19 million (USD2.6 million) fine according to a court verdict on June 18.
