Maextro has denied a report of brake pedal bracket failures under real-world driving conditions, following claims by ByteDance-backed automotive content platform Dongchedi that all three Maextro V800 models it tested experienced bracket failures during emergency braking. The Chinese luxury EV brand, a collaboration between Huawei Technologies and JAC Group, reaffirmed that its vehicles comply with national safety standards and announced a free upgrade for existing owners.
