China added 11 new occupations and 23 new specialty roles to its official occupational classification system today, reflecting the country's push to adapt its workforce to fast-growing industries and demographic changes. The new occupations include embodied AI technicians, shore-based ship management engineers, and sports data analysts, while the new specialties include low-altitude logistics operators and age-friendly renovation designers.
