The number of BYD passenger cars that were registered in Italy in the first seven months of this year almost tripled to 33,973 from a year ago, taking the Chinese automaker’s share of the European country’s car market to 3.2% from 1.2%, Xinhua News Agency reported, citing Italian auto industry association UNRAE.
