Eight more Chinese commercial lenders, including Ping An Bank, Bank of Shanghai, and China Bohai Bank, have been granted licenses for digital yuan operations, bringing the number of Chinese financial institutions allowed to offer digital yuan services to 30, the People's Bank of China announced today.
