About two million elderly people with disabilities in China have received government subsidies for care-giving services so far this year, the Ministry of Civil Affairs said yesterday at a press conference. The subsidy program has likely generated a growth of about CNY29 billion (USD4.3 billion) for the elderly care service sector.
