China today unveiled a blueprint to build a leading sports nation during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, which began this year, CGTN reported today. It marks the first time that sports development has been included in the country's national-level special planning framework. Approved by the State Council, the plan sets out key priorities for advancing China's sports sector and supports the long-term goal of turning China into a global sports powerhouse by 2035.
