Ikea's parent company Ingka Group plans to sell eight retail sites in Guiyang, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin and other Chinese mainland cities, covering a total area of 498,000 sqm, its agent Jones Lang LaSalle said today. Ikea is adapting to the era of existing housing stock, and the move does not represent an exit from the Chinese market, media outlet 21Caijing reported the Swedish furniture maker as saying.
