Shi Nansun, a producer and co-founder of Film Workshop, died yesterday at the age of 75 from recurrent infections that resulted in multiple organ dysfunction, according to the Hong Kong-based production house. Shi co-produced the Once Upon A Time In China series and A Better Tomorrow in the 80s, with the latter being a classic of Hong Kong action cinema starring Leslie Cheung and Chow Yun-fat.
