China’s domestic tourist trips are expected to reach 8.3 billion by 2030, with total domestic tourism expenditure hitting CNY7.7 trillion (USD1.1 trillion), according a five-year plan released by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Inbound tourism is projected to welcome 190 million trips.
