Several major Chinese AI platforms gave updates on AI tools restrictions during this year’s college entrance exams, with ByteDance’s Doubao saying photo-based question answering may be disabled, and Tencent noting Yuanbao stopped answering gaokao questions last year, while Baidu and iFlytek have not confirmed any final restrictions yet, Hongxing News reported yesterday.
