BMW firmly opposed the EU's additional countervailing duties on Chinese EVs and has taken the case to court, Chairman Oilver Zipse said at a Tsinghua University committee meeting yesterday. BMW, which has positioned itself as a bridge between China and the EU, believes in open markets and clear rules rather than trade barriers, he added.
